Furthermore, if Bush or McAmnesty had gotten their Amnesty plans successfully passed, the GOP would be stone cold dead because the small "l" libertarians and most of the conservatives would have left the party and he would have picked up at most 30% of the Illegal ALien vote since they have a habit for looking for free hand-outs which the Democrats are only so glad to give them and the GOP, more or less, would not be giving them.
