Explain to me exactly what wrong I have done, otherwise why the hostility?
Please explain how this mans teachings would be accepted by any orthodox Christian? Would the Patriarch of Constantinople, or Holy Father of Rome agree with any of it? Would any of the ancient Fathers of the Church agree? Quote me a text from St. Athanasius, St. Benedict, St Chrysostom, St Ambrose or any other Father that would correct me in my error.
I was quoting Jesus in my last statement. Please explain how HE is incorrect?
You find nothing wrong with this man, yet you find everything wrong with what I say? How was I being a “prophet” in anything I wrote? I was not speaking with any authority and I humbly apologize if it came across as such.
I am nothing if it were not for God’s mercy.
1. You are under no obligation to accept this man’s teachings, sexuality,or anything else about him.
2. That said, consider that he is as God made him,and that he may yet serve His purpose in some manner beyond easy mortal comprehension.
3. His obvious and open sexuality make him an easy target for derision and scorn; but, if you love and serve God as you evidently seek to do,the parable of the (much-scorned) Good Samaratin (sp?)should come to mind, and cause you to consider your response rather carefully.
4. Why not wait to see what his prayer is before condemning it a priori ?
