DUH. Of course the answer is YES! If America's cities were being rocketed every day by a terrorist faction bent upon her destruction, we would be angry with them and do whatever it took to wipe them out. And the New York Times is surprised that 90% of Israelis support Operation Cast Lead? Here's a telling example of how broad that support is: in the rest of the world, there have been huge antiwar demonstrations. In Israel, they are a non-event.

You haven't seen nothing yet. Wait until the Times starts to report all of the hospitals, orphanages and schools that the IDF are shelling. So far they are only blowing up civilians. :-)

I strongly believe the NY Times is wrong 90+% of the time that they editorialize, which happens far more than just on their editorial page. This article is a great example of that. They are clearly editorializing on the front page of the paper (”A version of this article appeared in print on January 13, 2009, on page A1 of the New York edition.”), with an editorial thinly disguised as a news item.

I wonder how 7 straight months of rocket and missile attacks on the NYTimes building would sit with these goofs?

I guess that people forget how we won WWII. We fire bombed German and Japan into submission. If we hadn’t done that, the war would have gone on much longer. Japan stated that they would fight until the last person and we would have lost, approximately, another 500,000 men. Israel must do the same thing. The people of Palestine must turn on Hamas.

I seriously want to know if and when this war with Iran will ever take place! Attacking Iran will hurt all of these worldwide terrorist organizations even more!
