He is “schmoozing” with neocons like Kristol becaue they they have been praising him from the rooftops for the last month. Now....if he had invited Ron Paul, Peter Schiff, (even Rush)....well then you can really say with he was meeting with “the opposition.”
To: ghost of nixon
Nope. He was at a Medal of Freedom diner given by the President if I remember correctly.

I didn’t know until this morning that Krauthammer was a speechwriter for Mondale.

... Its fair to say that these are amongst the conservatives that no conservatives listen to anymore. Theyre beltway-drunk."
That's more than fair.
Just shows how far we have fallen.
It seems that even FR has more Lieberman "conservatives" than Conservatives.

I dont think CON MAN falls within psychological parameters.Au contraire! There are a number of classic signs of con-man psychology that a trained shrink who was interested in that part of his field would be in an excellent position to spot. Con men are nuts in their own special way, and that leaves tracks all over their personality.

Obama transition officials refused to comment on the dinner, saying that it was off the record.Like Zero's Law Firm records, State Senate records, Medical records, College records, Campaign records, and his Birth Certificate.

What is distressing is the story coming out that Obama pre-designates which reporters will ask him questions at press conferences. If you are not in favor, you will not be called on. Not a good sign, IMO.No different than when the T.V. reporter out of FL...asked Biden some questions he didn't like. And that whole station was banned....
Not unlike the MO sheriff and lawyers smack down of anti-Obama speech there.
Why would things be different now?

I didn’t know that either though it is not terribly surprising that Krauthammer had written speeches for Mondale lwhen you think about it. Krauthammer, like the other key neocons, migrated over the Democratic party and still hold democratic views e.g. Wilsonianism and welfare statism on the key issues of the day. I am a bit surprised, however, that he came over so late.

This was the 40 pieces of silver dinner for the Judas pseudo conservatives.
The so called conservatives in the DC/NY area are highly paid world class actors performing for the elite left wingers like George $oreA$$ .

Levin? Yes, that would fun. It would be a like a stand-off between a bulldog and a poodle.

LOL. Mine would be similar. But I would preface it with what he could do:
Cut taxes, reduce regulation and the size of government, abandon bailouts and Keynesian policy, end your alliances with unions and left-wing radical groups...
then, “if not”...what you wrote.
