Umm the Secret Service is required to follow an itinerary that keeps the President and the POTUS away from each other as much as possible to prevent catastrophic occurrences from happening. I am assuming Obozo watched from the limo or where ever he was at. Plus, it was President Bush’s event and having the cameras on Obozo during the event was probably not the desired effect for Bush’s last address

No one cares that he wasn't there--it was leaving Blair House at exactly the time Bush was giving his speech, making it obvious to the world he had no interest in anything the gracious outgoing POTUS had to say, that was so arrogant.

Couldn't he have waited until the President was done? Of course not...it all has to be about him.

Ummmm, I'm assuming Obama didn't watch the speech in his 30 second drive to the Equinox restaurant (right across the street from the Blair House). No, he made a point by leaving his residence at the exact time that President Bush began his speech. He could have eaten earlier, ordered in, or had "room service" at the Blair house. Had he chosen to not have the cameras on him during Pres. Bush's speech, he would have stayed in. He chose to make a point. (IMO, of course)
