2 of 3 for the scout masters and 2 of 4 for the scout leadership. Understand this, NM has or had a very Conservative family oriented Hispanic population at the time.
NM was different than the rest of the Hispanic population at the time. Most were many generational Americans from Spain and Mexico.
We elected Conservative leaders to the US Senate and House. We also elected libs though.
I like how you called them many generational Americans from Spain and Mexico. Too many hyphenated Americans theses days. I was in the service with a guy from south Texas. He used to say that he didn't jump the border, the border jumped him. His family had been living in Texas since it was part of Mexico. And he was an American with Mexican roots.
