FTA: “Democrats want voters to remember that the nation’s economy crumbled when the Republicans held the White House.” . . .

And I would like to add: . . . and the democrats controlled the congress including a silver haired, slithering serpent, from Conn. and a tongue-tied, rump ranger idiot from Mass., who were supposed to be monitoring the very things that caused the melt down. These two jerks were countering the Bush administration’s warnings with “lie after lie” to quote the ‘fat cat of the Senate’!

This makes me mad enough to chew nails and spit buck shot at steny hoyer like a Gatling gun!!

if after four years, the only thing they manage to do is point fingers at Republicans, destroy the second amendment, and guarantee American men and woman the right to be as gay as they want to be, they are going to get a nasty surprise re-elected in a landslide again in 2012

There, you're too optimistic, let me offer some reality.

I think these people would look into a mirror and see...nothing

I think they do not even know how to function anymore without the emotion of anger as their “upper”. They are suffering from a psychological disorder.

Withdrawal will be a slow and painful process and some may never enter it. Only demanding that the Bamster conduct an inquisition and show trials of Bush/Cheney administration staff will keep the targets of their pathological anger in their pathetically empty and hopeless lives

Chris Matthews has hit new lows. He brings up totally irrelevant info about Bush, drove his fathers car etc. Something is going to happen to him. He is a mean rotten liberal who has sank to the level of Olbermann et al. They are becoming a whole network of hateful liberals. I just turn the channel and dont even bother with their newsy stuff anymore. Terrible.

Surely you didn’t expect any different from a Speaker whose office wastes taxpayer money making YouTube “cat-cam” videos that Rick-Roll the viewer.

I’m not kidding:

People want government that solves problems for people, not exacts revenge for the Base.

This will not end well for the Dems.

Best,

Chris

OMG....It’s worse than I thought...

Don't make that bet, Chris. The GOP has so alienated the base, people like me could care less what the dems do to them.

I think the battleground states they won this time are still battleground states. Democrats had better think long and hard about what the term “swing state” implies before they go making too many assumptions regarding their current position. I think Obama knows it even if the dumb shiites that got him elected don’t.

This is good news, let them waste their time and energy chasing the ghost of bush. Rather then advancing their destructive agenda.

I would not be surprised to see an attempt on Pres. Bush’s life. Some nut may well take it upon him or herself to “hold Bush responsible for his crimes.” The Libs have certainly encouraged this notion for eight years.

It’s not Bush it’s a game they play and republicans are too stupid to learn the rules.

This goes beyond mere BDS. Demokrats are making every attempt to convince the public that only they, the Demokrats, should run the country. Their goal is and has been total dictatorial powers over America in their rush to Socialism.

Don't be fooled believing they only hate George W. Bush. They hate conservatism with a passion and Bush is just who was unlucky enough to be in charge as their putsch into total power came about.

All of this is nothing more than a coup d'etat of America, our sovereignty and our freedoms long held and loved.

Welcome to the Union of Socialist States of America.

What is wrong with these Democrats? WHY is everything Bush’s fault? Where’s the Manifesto “Democrats as Victims of BDS” because I’d like to read it.

Expect this crap about Bush 20 years from now.

Absolutely. As the Dems now control everything, and odds are things won't go so well so Bush will continue to be the scapegoat. Economy doesn't pick up -- still Bush's fault. Jobs aren't created -- still because of Bush's failed economic policies. Etc., etc., etc.

Your comment makes perfect sense. Given the treatment accorded Ramos & Compean, why should I give a hoot about Democrats being mean to Republicans.

The GOP slept with the fleas. Let 'em live with it.

Hey Steny! No case law or precedent. But then again, that hasn't stopped rat bastards like yourself and Conyer from trying before.

Actually, this might be a good thing. Maybe it IS time to get it on...

Which is why I don't hold it against anyone for refusing to vote for McCain.
