After wresting a gun from a San Jose police officer during a traffic stop Friday, a suspected car thief fired at the cop, sought cover inside a gas station, then fatally turned the gun on himself during a dramatic six-hour siege that paralyzed a major thoroughfare.
The 23-year-old suspect was not immediately identified by police.
In the suspect's car, which had been stolen from Washington state, police found assault rifle magazines, a military helmet and a flak jacket. Police believed they belonged to the owner of the vehicle.

Just great.
“assault rifle magazines”
and this is msm on idle. remember what it was like in the clinton days. when they want to whip people up against “assault rifles” they’ll do it. some time in the next 2 years there’ll be a big push. a manufactured or convenient event will be used
I like a happy ending.
Give the MSM some credit. They didn’t call them clips. Then again I wonder if they meant “Gun World” magazine.;0)
power pole=utility pole the msm has strange names for things
Gee, did the assult rifle go on a spree without its equipment?
I'm curious to read a follow-on story - 23yo steals a car tht contains some ammo, a flak vest and a gas mask. 23yo doesn't don flak vest, but struggles with cop and gets gun, but doesn't shoot cop, still doesn't put on flak vest, but runs and hides then shoots self. Car was stolen in Washington, so flak vest, gas mask, etc were from Washington, but this happened in San Jose, Calif....too many loose ends here imo. jmo.
