Missouri is red except in the heavily populated areas that matter. St Louis County, Kansas City and Columbia. Unfortunately I live in Jackson County which includes Kansas City. Columbia with the University Of Missouri is a liberal hell hole.
How can he fail if there’s no real opposition?

If he succeeds there is no US as we know it. That's the point.
Have you ever been there? You might want to drive around the place before you think about planting your stuff there. No offense to OK folks. I’ve spent plenty of time in the north and western portions of nebraska, and some of western kansas. And I’ll tell you that very few people would actually WANT to live in those places. That’s why there’s hardly anyone there.
It’s a whole lot of nuthin. And when you do find a town, it’s a let down.
Limbaugh and people here don’t hate America when they hope for 0 to fail. 0 represents everything that is not America. Hoping for 0’s plans to fail is hoping for America to succeed.

I don’t want Obama to fail. I want the poliices proposed by the Democratic posse in Congress (Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Frank, etc.) to fail. Obama can’t do much (harm or good) by himself.
We should keep our eyes on the ones who can do the MOST damage. That is the current ‘leadership’ in Congress. They are leading us over a cliff.

BTW, I’ve been to OK and there is plenty there. There is also a whole lot to be said for small town life.

Huckster would’ve been a good veep. I don’t care for him personally, but he can out talk most of them. Then we needed a REAL conservative for prez.

I am hoping for an utter Obama failure.
That said, it will happen. In just a few days. Foreign policy is going to be a total and complete disaster. First thing to happen is the Israeli cease fire is going to be broken by Hamas. We will then have a Chinese fire-drill by sending whats-her-face to the Middle East for shuttle diplomacy, which won’t work. Then look for Ahmadinejad to step in by supporting a northern front (Hizbullah) and while Israel is busy swatting flies Obama will come to look like a total fool by supporting the Islamic factor (Hamas, Hizbullah, Islamic Jihad, Muslim Brotherhood etc). Within two weeks we will know where this clown stands.
Now, how about we start planning some concrete stuff. Such as T-shirts and bumperstickers. Preaching to the choir won’t help.
The county map is interesting but ultimately doesn’t tell the whole story. Obama won less counties but he crushed McCain in the counties that he did win. That’s the problem.

All those college kids and blacks hopefully will look at obama and the Dems and say no way they have ruined my life
I will however will be telling anyone I meet how bad obama is and how he has screwed this country up.
