Why should his life be in danger in Iraq?
I thought he was universally hailed as a hero for daring to stand up to the evil Bush? /s

Why not ask the NY Slimes for a room in their building. They seem to have more empty space these days and made this guy a hero too. Seems a perfect fit to me.

My thoughts exactly. It would seem that some Iraqis have taken issue with his behavior—sufficiently so that he feels he must seek asylum in Switzerland.
Could it be that the media lied to us once again about this man being hailed universally as an Iraqi here? Even if the MSM report this story, bobblehead brain dead demrat voters will never discern the dichotomy from the original stories.

The article mentions that there is concern that he will be made into a martyr for the islamic hoard to worship. Sounds like becoming a martyr is like being the bait on a fishing trip ... however it comes out, it never works out well for the bait.

So the coward is afraid. He thought he was so brave throwing a shoe at the head of our President, who was defenseless at the moment.

Why not the US? He should be able to land a job as a journalist.
He'd be a shoe-in.
