In four years, the only "change" that will be realized will be the "change" left in our pockets.

B. Hussein Obama's inauguration reminds one of the coronation of those corrupt African dictators with its glitz.
One is reminded of that African dictator who wore a 32 foot robe (or some ridiculous number) at his coronation.

Thanks for posting this article.
from the story:
Even President Bush who presumably counts himself among that group said last week that Obama’s inauguration is “a moment of hope and pride.”
Exactly. The inauguration is “a moment” of hope and pride.
To be followed by four years of disappointment.

Stop. Right. There.
I reject the opening premise of the Left PropagandaPoll.
Too often, the liberal media is allowed to define the battlefield before the argument even starts.

Just call this “the Wellstone Inauguration”
By Friday what will the media have to write about?
People who wake up with hangovers and realize they still have to pay their bills, listen to 4 years of uplifting canned speeches, and read about Michelle Obamas descent into Stepford wifedom and rebirth of the new black Jackie-O??

Nope, not even for a day. I keep getting these little flashbacks of missing “w” on WH keyboards. OH, golly gee, silly me, that was all good fun.
This is how the politico morons would describe that little ole incident.

Considering the makeup of the majority of the coronation attendees, there will be a lot of zebra-skin and ostrich feathers about. I wonder if PETA will be there?

...some conservatives can't quite get themselves in the "We Are One" mood. Nope. Can't get myself into a phony, Hollywood-inspired, drippy, huggy, feel-good, kumbaya socialist mood - even for one day.
Politico's just mad because it's evident that some of us are on to the media and aren't falling for their "Let's all worship" stance.

....it's hard to remember that 58 million Americans voted for the other guy. I have a feeling the 58 million people who voted for the (R) ticket will be having a field day soon. He is NOT my president, and I will buy a bumper sticker with that on it and keep it in my office for all to see. I already mute my radio whenever I hear his voice.

Dissent is only patriotic when the other party is in charge.
I remember many threads on this forum when Republicans controlled to executive and the legislative that those of dissent should shut and get over it, the people have spoken.
Now that the shoe is on the other foot, the other side is saying and doing the same thing and our dissent engines are warmed up and ready for the showdown.
