I didn't count them but it was very noticeable as a letter that was self focused and self congratulatory, because of them. Many people make the mistake of using self focused verbiage when writing.

It demonstrates to the reader the writers locus and very often receives a muted or silent response.

Exactly. That’s why I say it was a smack in their faces. She’s trying to equate hers and her fraud of a husband’s “sacrifice” and “service” with theirs.
