I have been a Pennsylvania Republican for a long time and Ronald Reagan is my absolute favorite. I am so grateful to have been alive during his time in office. That optimism is alive and well, despite the shrill and lunatic Left. Thank goodness for Free Republic and like-minded souls.

I am in awe of our heroes in the Armed Forces and continue to support President Bush in his efforts to bring Democracy to the Middle East. If it can be done, this will be our best chance to do so. I think history will be much kinder to him after he leaves office, much like they did to Reagan.

I have met a number of people of Middle Eastern descent here in the United States, from Iran, to Iraq, Lebanese and Jordanian. Without exception, they are not only grateful to be here but many are especially appreciative of George Bush.
