Michelle Obama is pitching in to help create thousands of care packages for U.S. troops.
In keeping with President-elect Barack Obama's call for a national day of community service on Monday, the eve of his inauguration, Michelle Obama and Jill Biden, the wife of Vice President-elect Joe Biden, traveled to RFK Stadium in Washington to help assemble the care packages.
Obama daughters Malia and Sasha also helped out.

My guess is none. My question is what did she donate to the packages?
Need to get my glasses, thought it said RESEMBLES a care package, not ASSEMBLES.
Soldiers will be opening boxes of snicker wrappers and empty yoo-hoo bottles all over the world...
That was purely rhetorical. If she ever did send things to the troops, my guess is the package was unmarked and it was intercepted by Postal autorities before it reached its final destination.
No way is she doing this because she loves our military, it is all hype to change her image.

Look who reported the story - Seattle PI, a lefty paper if there ever was one (or maybe more) to make her look better. Next, she’ll be baking cookies to send to the troops.
Michelle has a long way to catch up to me, a nobody from Chicago. 160 and counting since 2004. First box to my friend in Fallujah was my favorite: 2 drivers and a putter along with 50 golf balls. Boy, did they get a hoot out of that one!
The only good US troops are the ones within Americas borders directing traffic according to Hussein’s minions.

Too bad Michelle didn’t give a rats-ass about our troops for the last 8 years.
