Schumer: Obama wont lead left-wing government By Ian Swanson Posted: 01/20/09 09:19 AM [ET]
Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) on Tuesday said the incoming Obama administration will not necessarily be a left-wing government.
Schumer, a member of the Senates Democratic leadership, cast Obama as a moderate politician who would govern from the middle after taking the oath of office on Tuesday.
While Obama will be a clear break from the Bush administration, Schumer added in an interview with CNN that the new presidents administration is not necessarily going to be a left-wing government.
Obama is a moderate activist, according to Schumer, who will push for changes in the short-term to both the economy and the war in Iraq.

It depends on what you mean by left-wing government.
From Schumer's perspective, Hugo Chavez is fairly conservative.

Hahaha! Chucky, are you filling Franken’s vacated job of comedian?

Let's review, shall we? Palled around with known Communists and anarchists his entire adult life. Attended a Marxist "black liberation theology" church with his wife and daughters for 20 years. Most liberal voting record in the U.S. Senate. Voted to uphold partial birth abortion.
Yeah, sounds like a moderate to me. Only to one like Chucky Schumer could this guy seem like a moderate.

Of course we believe anything that comes out of that POS’s mouth. I want to hear him comment on Maddoff and tell us how much he lost with him. That would be entertaining.

And I just won the Irish lottery. What a sham and a shame. This country and hard working Americans are in for at least four years of a living hell. This Chicago punk thug will institute the most radically left wing changes ever. Karl Marx will be proud from his little corner of Hell.

Oh, well then!! If Chucky declares it to be, then that's what it will be!!! ::rolls eyes::
/sarc
After the ceremony today, when HolyO FINALLY comments on Gaza and Israel and begins making all those HOPE and CHANGE thingies on his watch, we'll see.
If he decides to sign
FOCA right off the bat to appease NARAL and Planned UnParenthood and officially sanction the murder of God knows how many millions more innocent unborn babies, then the line will be drawn and there won't be any more of this 'centrist' crap! We'll know for sure exactly how entrenched he is in the extreme leftist camp!
*heavy sigh*
Still, I am praying FOR him, to see the errors of the policies he has promised to bring to America, and that God will guide him as the new leader of our country. Hardest prayer I think I've ever had to make, except for the one when my late sister was on her deathbed and I prayed for God to take her to His side! :*(
See my tagline!
