Our standards have changed radically over the past decades. Virtually every elected Republican is to the left of FDR. Talk of “moderate” and “center” have no real meaning. It has all become relative and very fluid. There aren’t many Republicans who aren’t virtual socialists. Are there any left who advocate any cuts in the federal government?

Schumer’s renamed “moderate” now means in favor of $2 trillion deficits, socialized medicine, gay marriage, pro-abortion, UN veto over foreign policy, expanding govt spending, higher tax rates, and environmental regulation on CO2.

And Fidel Castro didn’t reveal that he was a Communist until 2 years after he took power. By then he had eliminated any opposition.
