There are many, many Willows in my son’s generation. He is 14 and the sheer number of NObama shirts on Election Day was staggering. He and his friends get it, the older teenagers get it, and I have hope in them. Keep in mind that this is in liberal Minnesota.
I tried explaining the merits of capitalism and freedom to my daughter last night (she’s 8). You really have to put it in simple terms that they can relate to, but they can get it.
At some point, conservatives have to recognize that economic Fascism is being used to discredit Capitalism.
Joe-the-plumber represented what is left of Capitalism.
Corporate lobbyists, corporate personhood, the Federal Reserve, the bailout all represent Corporatism, or economic Fascism.
So, since Fascism has failed we must embrace Marxism?

To liberals and the left employed by non-profits or the government, life is not about success but about making life ‘fair’ie; UTOPIA.........they have no clue because most have NEVER created anything of substance and that includes a life...
