The first thing I did this morning when I got to work was to fire up Adobe Acrobat and start downloading the entire whitehouse.gov website into a PDF file. It had downloaded more than 500 pages successfully at one point. When I checked later, it had stopped with an error message and the website had already been revamped. I hope all that Bush era information was not lost. It should be stored somewhere - the trick is finding it.

FYI...I saw the new Dustin Hoffman film, “Last Chance Harvey” last night...a good chick flick..surprisingly, there’s a very nice, and not to subtle, pro-life message in the film...

They always had backup disk for the site. The only problem is they are required to turn all of them over to the new administration. Now, if a lowly staff member had made a secret copy and hid it, we may have a chance of seeing it again. Sort of like in the series “24” with Jack Bauer. :-)
