With the Beltway bread-and-circus show over, President Obama will now get to work on borrowing hundreds of billions of dollars from you, your children and your grandchildren for a doomed fiscal stimulus.
As President Obama basked in the inaugural glow, a dark cloud of reality moved in over the Democrats' $825 billion plan to rescue the economy. The Congressional Budget Office crunched the numbers and concluded that a huge bulk of the federal spending orgy wouldn't actually kick in until the recession is waning -- if not already over.

yeah that’s why Americans elected a tyro and Chuckles the VP instead of a former POW and a governor who actually had to make decisions and balance a budget.
Be happy that there’s not more for them to spend.
Thinking of Zimbabwe...
Two most noticeable things were done in Zimbabwe. One was the inflation. The other was that domineering busybodies were commissioned to depose and evict their neighbors. But it’s not always a racial thing and has also been done between income classes and ideologies.
Hillary’s friends were working their way up from the bottom and didn’t finish the job. They didn’t get to the “good ol’ boys,” as women’s studies instructors refer to business leaders.
Well at least the left has finally found some value in the unborn children.
