Obama is a racist who spent twenty years listening to anti-American racist pap in a racist “church” and gave large sums of money to that “church”.

People don’t care.

Obama is an associate of a virulent anti-American radical terrorist, a member of a group who killed AMERICANS with bombs, who wished he had done more violence, whose most public moments in print are accompanied by a picture of him proudly and triumphantly standing on top of an American flag, the same flag I and my father served under, and my father was buried under. This man is one of Obama’s principal patrons, who by his own admission is “guilty as sin-free as a bird”, and quite proud of that.

People don’t care.

Obama is corrupt to the core, steered money towards his family (wife) and friends.

People don’t care.

Obama is an avowed socialist who believes in redistribution of wealth.

People don’t care.

Obama thinks higher taxes are the way to fix our problems.

People don’t care.

Obama thinks higher gasoline prices are good for us.

People don’t care.

Obama thinks guns should be banned.

People don’t care.

Obama is a devotee of Saul Alinsky’s techniques as described in “Rules for Radicals”, one of the most disgusting things I have ever read.

People don’t care.

Obama is probably not a citizen eligible for the Presidency under the guidelines of the Constitution and pointedly and arrogantly refuses to provide the documentation.

People don’t care.

I am disheartened about this election in ways I simply cannot describe, but most depressing and discouraging for me is that I worked hard as a citizen to understand the issues. I made the effort to evaluate and re-evaluate my stand on issues and make sure they were backed by logic and consistent with what was best for our nation.

My vote was trumped and negated by a damned ignorant idiot who came to the conclusion Obama was going to pay for her mortgage and her gasoline. My vote was worthless.

I understand the sentiment behind this, but...people don’t care. If they had given an ounce of thought to it, they surely never would have voted him in.

Unless, of course, they are either to stupid, uncaring or simply do not share my values on the type of person we should have running the country. It is the last one I find most distressing to contemplate. That possibility has worse potential for our country than the other two.

They are too stupid.

This was the triumph of idiocy over reason.

And it only gets worse from here on.

Excellent post. I agree completely. What is really troubling is that I can't fathom a solution arising from our democratic system of government - not with an uneducated mob casting votes.

Your post is a great recitation of Obama's background and what too many people don't care about. Unfortunately, I think your last option to explain this mess is the accurate one. Too many don't share your values. We have reached the point where the majority of voters receive from the Federal government; they don't pay into it. There is a famous quote about the tipping point when the masses realize they can vote themselves benefits without apparent cost. We have reached that point, and it is likely to get much worse before a collapse, and, hopefully, a rebirth.

"uncaring or simply do not share my values"

Sorry, but we had two choices. . . .
TWEEDLE DEE
TWEEDLE DUMB
Unable to tell the difference.

“A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky,
dangerous animals. You know it.” - Men in black

The reason we have things like Communism is because people have a herd mentality. They always want to be part of something and are willing to suspend their individualism to be part of it. They only find out later that they no longer are individuals, but unknowing cogs in an apparatus that wouldn’t hesitate to destroy them if they spoke out.

The same leftwing that every radical group with an agenda supports would be the first to be destroyed once the transformation to the new paradigm was complete.

I’m going to copy your words and put them everywhere I can. You hit the nail on the head when you say, “People Don’t Care.”

This is from an e-mail and I can’t vouch for the accuracy of the figures. The county-by-county election map (http://www.liberallychallenged.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/2008-presidential-election.jpg) indicates it is probably accurate.

Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law, St. Paul , Minnesota points out some interesting facts concerning the Presidential election:

Number of States won by: Democrats: 19 Republicans: 29

Square miles of land won by: Democrats: 580,000 Republicans: 2,427,000

Population of counties won by: Democrats: 127 million Republicans: 143 million

Professor Olson adds: “In aggregate, the map of the territory Republican won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country. Democrat territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare...”

I agree, sadly, many Americans ‘don’t care’. imho, I believe it’s largely because they don’t understand how replacing our Republic and capitalist system of government with socialism will, eventually, affect their lives. I think Obama and his minions did a good job of ‘saying’ what the ‘everydday’ person could relate to. What he ‘does’ will be quite another story and, eventually, they will find out what their vote cost them. And, again imho, the Republican Party is largely to blame for the situation we’re in.....they didn’t relate to ‘everyday’ people....they pandered vs standing up for principles...they didn’t unite or use enough technology to EDUCATE AND INFORM people and they didn’t ACT.

Even now.....where is the movement to ensure people who register to vote are who they say they are or that they live where they say they live and that ONLY those with valid registrations are allowed to vote and then ALL VALID votes are counted ...even absentee military votes. This is a big task...but, if we don’t start somewhere, sometime, we’ll always be in the same disgraceful place. Where is the movement to identify, capture and use homegrown energy sources...including drilling for oil. Is the RNC doing all it can to support Norm Coleman?? They spend a lot of money on letters and calls asking for more money.....which hasn’t seemed too help get more R’s elected. Where are the town hall meetings to explain to people that, often, socialized medicine will result in people not being able to choose their own Dr and, sometimes, having to wait months for an operation or how dependence on foreign oil affects them..

I’m discouraged and concerned for our country and I have often called and emailed U.S. Senators/Congressmen but, I will also, now, begin demanding more of local officials since they may be able to change things ‘at the bottom’ (Sup of Election procedures, sending buses to Wash, etc) and, perhaps, this will bubble up to the top....maybe..
Sorry for rant, but, thanks for letting me share.

The "zero taxpayers" voted themselves a raise by voting for their messiah
0 is their messiah not yours, not mine
You vote was cancelled out by the non-producers of America
Same as the irresponsible and the innumerate in your neighborhood will get their mortgages re-adjusted to easy terms while you pay full freight

You know you hear all of these things about obama. I could care less about him. He speaks more about the fact that hes black than anything else. When in fact he is not all black. Wheres the proof of any of the things thay are said about him. I dont want to hear the bullshit. I want the proof. So he can get the hell out of there.
