A Look At The Bush We Hardly Knew
The Bulletin ^ | January 21, 2009 | Michael P. Tremoglie

Posted on 01/21/2009 1:24:35 PM PST by William Tell 2

During his terms in office President George W. Bush rarely received positive media. Studies, such as those done by Robert Lichter in 2005, indicated that he received more negative coverage than his predecessors. (Mr. Lichter found that nearly 70 percent of the media reports during his first 100 days in office in each of his two terms was negative. This was more than Clinton).

The Bush administration’s accomplishments were either underreported or not reported at all. A review of these years reveals achievements few know.

No kidding. And exactly who is going to report them?

While Bush certainly wasn’t perfect, and made his share of mistakes, he was only human. Overall, he’s a pretty good man. God bless him.

I seen President Bush in a light that I had never new during an interview he gave at the Beijing Olympics. Man he was relaxed, in a shirt, laid back and spoke like he had the handle of the whole world.

Pity, the people who voted for ‘the one’ did not trust President Bush as much as he trusted them.

History speaks louder than any politician.

"History speaks louder than any politician."

That depends on who writes that history. Even the hitory books are not dependable anymore. Look at how our history as a nation is being rewritten to make us look like the most evil empire there ever was, how WE are suddenly the bad guy for nuking poor defenseless Japan, when it was actually the evil empire that had pretty much enslaved and committed mass murder throughout the entire Asian pacific coast and islands from Japan down to and including the Philippines, forcing over 100 million people into slavery keeping the Japanese imperial empire and military machine well greased. It's never mentioned anymore that we overcame near impossible odds, with only 4 ships making up our entire pacific fleet at first, and with only sheer will and determination and sacrifice, prevailed and liberated the entire world from tyranny.
