Why would he run for Governor? Richardson already built the railroad and our small state faces a $500 million deficit which, incidentally, is the same as the cost of the railroad.

“It’s as if there were nothing more worthy in all of history to talk about. They do little actual history, unless you consider the ‘history of the car’ or ‘the history of fast foods’ to be suitable intellectual fare.”

Well the history of cars and fast food is more than suitable intellectual fare when compared to the brainless pre-scripted “reality” shows found on the other networks. :D

I’ve also got to put in a good word for the guy who played Ike, I think his name is Stephen Lang. His Ike was so real and right, so believable, and he looks like a heck of a horseman to boot.

Stephen Lang played a great Ike Clanton. If you want to see a lot more of his acting and horsemanship he played George Pickett in Gettysburg and Stonewall Jackson in Gods and Generals. Both great movies. I especially liked his portrayal of Stonewall Jackson. Riveting performances all.

Tombstone is a case of too many inspired performances to list built on a great script. The casting was brilliant.
