I am one of those folks except I was unable to enter the ticketed area for the second Bush Inaugural. The reason was a very large of outraged moonbats that blocked sidewalks and severely retarded walking traffic flow.
I think you placed the words "severely retarded" in the wrong place. It should have been used between "outraged" and "moonbats".
And FWIW, I was locked out of the 2005 Inaugural as well. The gates are shut at a certain time, and if you aren't inside the gates by that time, tough luck. The ticket makes a nice souvenir. But I did not demand, nor did I expect a "compensation package". More demented leftists with their hands out. Just pathetic. But get used it. That is the norm now, with a Government ready to greet those hands with taxpayer money.
