A photo of the divorce decree was posted here not too long ago; I’ve been sort of sick and not kept track of where anything is but others know.

It definitely looked like an authentic divorce decree; despite the fact that no one had been able to verify the claims that a marriage had taken place. The significance of the marriage having been held (as proved by the divorce decree) is that if 0bama was born in Kenya, and the parents were married, he may not even be a US citizen at all unless he was naturalized some time later.

The fact of a divorce decree is huge. It makes Baby O an automatic British subject and a citizen of Kenya. The information that there was a “quickie” Maui marriage ceremony February of 1961 would be verified by a divorce decree. I wonder if the decree does indeed reflect the time and place of the marriage ceremony?
