In short, the Mexico City Policy protected another group of human persons from being tortured, unto their death. Only these small people are not in a detention center. They are living in the first home of the whole human race, their mothers womb. This humane policy also ensured that our tax dollars would not be used to torture them, through surgical dissection, suction, saline burns or chemical weapons and then kill them. That is if they lived in Brazil, or the Philippines or throughout Africa...
Now, with the stroke of a Presidential pen President Barack Obama has shown his disdain for our deeply held, moral position. He has also once again unleashed the evil that results from using tax dollars extracted from Pro-life citizens to fund the torture and killing of our first neighbors. It not only violates the Natural law right to life of the children who will be tortured and killed in every procured abortion, it violates our consciences by making us complicit in the evil. Sadly, this action indicates that the other promises the new President made to the supporters of abortion on demand may be on the horizon. All who love life need to pray and prepare for a long, difficult struggle.

I knew this would be coming, and yet it’s sobering when it finally happens.
In the past two days from the president we have seen mercy for terrorists, and the easing of restrictions against the murder of the unborn.
Words fail me....
Most Catholics voted for this guy.
Catholics are a strange lot .. I know, I used to be one. They don’t follow their Pope at all, as a group. The Mormons are much more reliable on moral issues.
No good, dirty, baby murdering sonofabitch. And that’s when I think kindly of him.
God’s judgment will come into play..already has I think.
Used to be one????wrong, you are still a Catholic and still belong to the church that Jesus Christ Himself founded....you just decided to asume that you were as capable of determining the truth as was Jesus...brilliant!!
If I were you, I would hurry back to the church as soon as possible....remember, Jesus promised His church to be with her from now till the end of time....By the way, real Catholics do indeed follow the teachings of the church and realize that there are consequences for failure to do so....Welcome back...you know I’m right
Hmm...we can’t “torture” terrorists, but we can crush, dismember and mutilate infants in the womb?
i guess that doesn't sound as righteously judgmental of us Catholics though..
We deserve whatever happens to us.
Wow....really like that!
Meanwhile without batting an eyelid he spins arounds and orders the unleasing of the murderous hell of unlimited abortions through rescinding the Mexico City accords and can hardly wait for the Peloski Freedom Of Choice bill which will repeal every state pro-life efforts.
As God said in the Bible Proverbs 8:36 - all they that hate me love death!!
Not this one.
Ah, the arrogance of the flock ... if someone leaves, let’s start claiming that someone thinks they are self capable of finding Jesus. I am with Jesus daily, my dear Catholic friend. One does not contain Jesus ‘in a box’ although that is what the RCC would like to claim. And as long as they continue to show lack of leadership (and not at the Papal level, but below), they continue to loose out in their role as God’s chosen.
Many non-Catholics see the logic of one church, respect greatly the leadership of the Papal office, but reject the RCC for its failure to follow even their own pope, as well as some of the more current problems with shuffling pedophiles around from town to town.
I will share the day of Catholicism perhaps with you some day, when ‘power corrupts’ is far less evident in the bishop and priest ranks of the RCC. In the mean time, Jesus is available to all, especially outside of the RCC.
