PRESIDENT OBAMA TAKES ON RUSH LIMBAUGH IN NEW MEDIA WAR

WASHINGTON -- President Obama warned Republicans on Capitol Hill today that they need to quit listening to radio king Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration.

"You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done," he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package.

One White House official confirmed the comment but said he was simply trying to make a larger point about bipartisan efforts.

"There are big things that unify Republicans and Democrats," the official said. "We shouldn't let partisan politics derail what are very important things that need to get done."

That wasn't Obama's only jab at Republicans today.

Obama thinks anyone and everyone is partisan if they do not agree with him. Hearing our new president state something along those lines shows us he does not respect freedom of speech or value different views other than his own.

If the Pubbies were smart (and so far there's no evidence of that) they'll try pleasing Rush's audience than Obama.

Better for their future in politics.

That's not true. One can listen to Rush and one can get things done. I've done some of my best work while Rush was on air live. Why can't others? Further? If you'd like this nation to get more exercise, folks should turn on Rush... you won't even notice how many miles you've clocked; or how many reps with weights. Cardio workout? Listen to Rush.

This has been a public service anouncement brought to you by a tried and truer.

This is not good. Not good I tell you. You realize he has Peggy Noonan and John McCain on HIS side?

The One is afraid of one man with a microphone. One man has spooked The One. Imagine what our nation’s enemies will do..

I'm pretty sure he's going to handle them the same way Chavez, Putin, and Castro does, and its the press who are very quickly going to understand that questioning POTUS MUZZUE HUSSEIN is not good for their health or well being.

99% will fold like cheap suits and the rest will have "accidents".

No, Rush would just move offshore and broadcast from there. It wouldn’t surprise me if there are transmitters which could broadcast a signal so loud it would be boomed across half the US. Either that or he could just broadcast via internet exclusively.

Rush is already rich enough to pull this off.

What a petulant little man child this guy is! Bring it O. Mental midget. George Bush had some political capital he was going to spend. Didn’t do him much good and he is ten times the man O is.

Yep. If they think they are going to shut down Limbaugh with the Fairness Doctrine, they are mistaken.

I can see it already, though. When that fails, they will get some kangaroo court to interpret his opinions as “hate speech” and attempt to put him on trial and muzzle him that way.

In my life, I never thought it would come to this. But here it is.
