I didn’t know these things! But seriously, what’s it tell us that so many are leaving at once? ...something “under” it all is going on...and that “something” is certain to be very visible soon.
Could be as simple as more jobs at home, construction boom in UAE has slowed, western attitudes brought in for the tourism trade offend, a new law regarding the sponsorship, cost of living locally compared with the wages earned, .......
I can think of many reasons including things we don’t know as you are suggesting. I think the economy ills are worldwide. May be a scam for all nations to get together on a Tuesday at the UN and say worldwide bankruptcy is on and all is wiped clean regarding debt. Sort of that one world bank we read about in the good book ........:o)
