I’ve heard on the news today that Timothy Geithner failed to pay his taxes because............he did his taxes on TurboTax and it did not prompt him to pay his “other” taxes he owed.

(1) TurboTax was contacted by FoxNews and basically said “B.S.” You ARE prompted about other taxes that you may owe.

(2) Why would this “great financial wizard” need to use TurboTax in the first place? If thatis the requirement to be Secretart of the Treasury, then I am just as qualified, since I’ve been using TurboTax for the last couple of years.

(3) Let’s not forget the immigration status of his domestic staffer.

(4) As head of the New York Treasury, he watched the Wall Street melddown happen,Citibank, etc., and did NOTHING.

Yet because he’s Obama’s choice, we are not allowed to speak of such matters.

I have a headache...........

Has anyone asked whether or not he received payment for his taxes from the IMF while not actually paying the IRS?

BRWAAAAAHAHAHAHA!!! And Turbo Tax is owned by a California company Intuit, which is a major contributor to dimwits including Oboomba's campaign. Bet they're regretting their campaign contribution now!!!

And like you, I am a regular user of Turbo Tax, actually since 1995, and Turbo Tax software will ALWAYS prompt for any other taxes / credits / income, etc.

What a bozo Geithner is!!! I don't care what his background or education is... he got caught trying to scam the IRS and now he is trying to lie his way out of it.

That a Treasury Sec could be a tax cheat is bad enough.

What is unforgivable are his lies at the hearings. “I forgot” and “it was turbo-tax’s fault” reveal a poor character unsuitable for high office.
