I grew up in Scotch Plains, a town that borders Plainfield to the East. There are no caves in the area, or I would have found them as a kid! :0)

Plainfield, by the way, was once a beautiful city! Full of Victorian mansions. The city was destroyed by riots in the '60s. Not sure if it has ever recovered...
