You know Joe, we’re on the same page. These are worse than parasites. They don’t just feed on the U.S., they wish to destroy it. They’re more akin to a virus. We need a good collective shot of penicillin.
Just saw two choppers sort of overhead. I’m about mid-way between the prison and Tampa. One going southbound and the other a few miles to the east going northbound. Maybe airlifting casualties to a Tampa hospital.
That’s my belief too. I’m sick of seeing FReepers cheering for the “rights” of convicts to commit rape, murder and other violent acts.

Is reporting that 1 inmate in hosp due to gunshot and 8 others in hosp for other non specific injuries.

Update.
2:40 pm a stabbing started the brawl.
Out break started in the HIGH security area of the prison.
Things seem to be simmered down at this time.
Officials reporting no, repeat no threat to the public residents in the area.
Sound like it is under control at this time folks.
On a personal note it takes a certain type (I dont know how else to describe) of Man to be employed in an enviroment where the most violent, mentally disturbed criminals are housed.
It is a mystery to me.

Cell with steel door that leads to out side cage.
Make all the floors with a slight grade on them so staff can come through and fire hose down the floors to clean and wash all waste out to the connecting cages.
Bunk 2 men per cell.
I often wondered if the Queenie type gays were the safest from injury in prison.
They are not confrontational and the idea of Man/Man sex can not be used to humiliate them like it would a hetro man.
Not saying they enjoy being gang raped but I dont see them as a threat to the formed gangs amongst the population.
I cant fathom a gang related hit/murder being made on a Drag Queen. But I dont really know.
At first reading, I thought the inmates had guns, butt... after careful consideration, it is more likely that the jailers took extreme measures to stop the riot.
What are they doing the rest of the time. Blessedly I don’t know much about prison (except what I see on TV and I know that isn’t the best source.)
Give them non responsive access to Free Republic meaning they can only read and scroll but no ability to post.
Then you would really see the ACLU types ranting.
