According to an investigation conducted by the Department of Justice, Farias and Yazzie were exercising in a recreation cage at the prison, when Farias stabbed Yazzie with a homemade knife approximately 13 times. Martinez then joined Farias in the attack and the two reportedly kicked and stomped Yazzie for approximately forty-five minutes. He later died from his injuries. He was stabbed 13 times and stomped on for 45 minutes??? Do they have no guards there?
