Chris Matthews has the typical patronizing attitude many liberals have towards black people. The night before Obama’s Inauguration, Matthews said something like, “They [blacks] deserve this [Obama] because they've been suffering in this country for three or four hundred years.” This is the illogical, patronizing attitude that many in the media have.
