Yep, although I can not see any new information coming out that could change things that much. The video pretty much speaks for itself...motive is important. I don’t know if we will ever know if the cop killed the guy in a fit of rage or if he truly meant to grab his stun gun. As one poster noted, they are quite different. No matter what, he should go to jail...just depends on the circumstances how long this should be.
I don’t know what the law stipulates as punishment (if it was an error) so I can’t say what punishment he should get. Motive certainly IS key here. It’s far different to kill someone in a fit of rage than it is to kill them thru a stupid mistake. But, like you, I wonder if we will ever know the real truth, and our biases will color how we interpret what we saw. BTW I guess there is no audio of the incident. That would be helpful, if it was clear and close.
