A New York woman quoted as saying she "remembers" the birth of Barack Obama and who was hailed as independent evidence of the president's eligibility to occupy the Oval office has told WND that's not exactly how things happened.
Instead, she told WND she could provide no specifics about the birth.
The interview by the Buffalo News with Barbara Nelson was cited by the Democratic Underground website under the headline "Independent Confirmation of Obama's Birth."

At this point, Barry Soetoro could have been born on Mars and the SCOTUS will not take the case. The fix was in weeks ago and the little unethical tea party for Barry proved Roberts was as useless as tits on a boar hog. The subpreme court is just another arm of the federal government with whom We The People no longer have a valid Constituional contract. This is no longer a Constitutional Republic ... the majority mob controls the nation, with or without honest elections now.

Here is a case of a liar. Who can remember a conversation they had at dinner in 1961? Who can remember the second thing they said to the second person they talked to on Friday afternoon, November 22nd, 1963?
Obviously, what has happened here is that a woman who desperately was trying to feel connected and relevant made up a story that took on a life of its own and now she is trying to manage the reprocutions and back away from the assertion. It is anything but proof. Jez.

Sarge, weeks ago I predicted that the democrap party would win, that they would empower the unions beyond our wildest nightmares, that they would appropriate funding for ACORN front groups, that they would remove all obstructions to murdering the alive unborn and just born, and that they would bankrupt the nation while squelching energy independence ... and that tens of thousands, perhaqps hundreds of thousands of Americans will be slaughtered in the next terrorist actions in this nation which the democrap party naivete will encourage. THEN, the democraps will use nukes as our nation declines in riots and mayhem at the end of social order. Want to place bets (figuratively) on any of those, to collect in three years?
Maybe that Buffalo women should present the napkin she wrote Obama’s name on as evidence. Probably more genuine than Obama’s COLB.
Hey I’m sure glad GWB appointed those two strict constructionists to the SCOTUS (Roberts and Alito), I’m sure one of those two guys are going to stand up for the Constitution, right?

Thou art correct. And the news that's even worse? IMHO we have quite possibly reached the point of no return, the point at which an electoral solution is no longer realistic. By the time Obama's four years are up, the demographics could EASILY be such that a majority of U.S. households pay no tax, the implications of which are dire. When a majority of voters can vote to take the money from the minority and give it to themselves, the democracy is doomed.

America no longer has a civic culture. We have a media culture, a popular culture generated by the entertainment and advertising industry, but no sense of day-to-day responsibility.
You may still see little pieces of it here and there. The family that sets up a polling station in their garage, a pool of jurors, various volunteer groups. But most of that is gone, I agree.
How long would it take to destroy what's left of that civic culture? According to some, not long.
The wealth that the poor would vote themselves out of the Treasury is not infinite. The process has to be self-limiting at some point.
