Love SP but I’m not a fan of her setting up a PAC. Part of her charm was that she was not an insider.Now she is no different than any other politician. I understand that if she’s going to be successful she is going to need money, but I wish there was an alternative. (preparing for possible flamage)

This is something that we all will need to get over. She has virtually no chance unless she plays by some of the old-boy network rules. Her biggest fans are apalled by those rules. How do you reconcile the two?

The key here is not to be an absolutist. Sarah will not be perfect and conservatives will not like some of what she says, but, we cannnot allow “conservatives” to ridicule her as they did GWB.

Sarah Palin is the best chance We The People have to once again see our country represent our founders ideals. Let’s not nitpick her on every little thing, or she will be marginalized.

If she's going to be a viable candidate, she had to set up a PAC, pure and simple, since she will need money and lots of it, that she cannot otherwise raise legally while a State official.

Having a PAC in place will let her raise enough money so that she can get her expenses paid while campaigning for other candidates and gathering IOUs, like she did with Saxby Chambliss. Unlike Romney, she is not really personally wealthy, and will need every cent to pay for her future political activities.

What?! First of all, Sarah IS a conservative...thank you very much. Second of all, you can no more “allow” or disallow conservatives to do anything any more than BO can disallow Rush from speaking his mind.

It looks like it’s run by a private institution, however, it doesn’t say who it is... which is kinda of weird. I don’t really understand it myself ( I read in the whole page)... However, I would like to point out I would not trust an institution that doesn’t state who is running it with my money (well if I had any)

You’re right! Education and Health Care need to come off the site’s front page pronto, and be replaced with Energy, Defense, and Fiscal Responsibility.

While I agree that Education and Health Care are not the Government's job, we have been forced to talk about these issues and we must do so in a conservative manner. As Arthur said, we must do all that we can to instruct and inform the masses of GOVERNMENT EDUCATED CITIZENS that neither education nor healthcare should be run by the Government. Those are also Governor Palin's beliefs. Including them on the front page will hopefully go a long way as an attention grabber for people to read on and to hopefully turn on a light in a few million American brains.

It mentions that as Governor she created a “Climate Change Subcabinet to prepare a climate change strategy for Alaska.”
