Just woke up. Sorry I didn’t get back to you last night. AQ literaly means, ‘the base’. If you go to the FBI website, you can find their ‘organization’ documents. They were formed out of all of these seperate groups. The group mentioned in the article is a member.

You’re very welcome. I really hope we can verify some more of this stuff and figure out what’s up with this — it’s EXTREMELY disturbing to think that Obama is in close PERSONAL contact with the leaders in Al Qaeda who are killing our brave men and women in the military.

There was someone on the thread earlier who was convinced this was all BS because Obama campaigned on strengthening our presence in Afghanistan. Here’s the thing that occurred to me though. (And, I know this is pure conjecture on my part, but I’ll put it out there anyway...)
If this report is true, then Obama has been working out some kind of deal with Al Qaeda (reminds me of Italy). He has said we will leave Iraq, and strenghten our presence in Afghanistan, and talks about going into Pakistan. Here’s the thing though - if he wanted to completely pull out of the Middle East what better way than if we’re only in Afghanistan and he announces a truce? Then we leave Afghanistan and we’re out COMPLETELY over there.
Obama could call it a “victory”, and say that we’ve “defeated” Al Qaeda, and that they no longer pose a “threat”. He could arrange to arrest a few “higher ups” (or so they will be billed) from Al Qaeda — people the leadership has something against already — or those who would gladly give their lives, or freedom to accomplish this plan — we already know there are those who don’t mind dying, who of them would really mind being in “Club Gitmo” if it’s even still open if they knew they were performing a duty to help in the long run?. In truth all this posturing would accomplish is leaving these groups to do what they wish in Iraq and Afghanistan (not to mention Pakistan).
With NO American presence in the area it will leave Israel as the primary target for their rage, and their hirabist war. They will have no Americans to fight anywhere else in the general area, so their plan will be to “take back” Iraq and install Sharia and a Caliphate there, same with Afghanistan (Taliban would come back to power). Then all of these terrorists who are just itching to kill will set their sights on Israel, and go to Lebanon, or Syria, or Palestine/Gaza.
Seeing Obama’s connection with the Muslim groups in Kenya through his cousin Odinga and such I would NOT put it past him to develop a plan that appears on the surface to put pressure on Al Qaeda, but in reality just buys time so he can arrange a “cease fire” of sorts. Convince America that the job is done, when in actuality there is still a network in place and the terrorist actions will just go on...
I’m very tired right now, so perhaps I should’ve waited, or re-worded this idea I’ve put forth, but I think you all can get the gist of what I’m saying.
One thing remains positively true — Obama cannot be trusted in ANYTHING he proposes regarding the WoT. Given all his connections with Radical Islamic Terrorists via Kenya, and his “comrades” like Rashidi and such I would DEFINITELY not put it past him to conjure up a “fake” victory that really just gives Al Qaeda space and time to regroup, and re-focus.
Any updates on this? Of course, there has been no mention of it in the MSM.

Interestingly enough, Obama could dodge this Logan Act bullet in the sense that it prohibits “correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof”. He could make a good argument that Al Qaeda does not constitute a “foreign government” in the strictly understood sense.

Another rumor floating around is that the missile into Pakistan that Obama sent the other day was actually aimed at a faction in ‘competition’ with AQ. One that OBL wanted to get rid of. Can you imagine?

You don’t negotiate with an organized enemy that wants to destroy you. UNLESS you think (as Obama does) that you can placate the public for four years with this “peace” and watch as hell is unleashed upon the next President who decides to FIGHT a re-armed and stronger enemny.

Like someone said, he might actually get around the Logan Act because AQ is a ‘stateless’ actor. If this article ends up being true and well sourced however...Obama is toast with the American people...end of the story. He will likely be impeached. The sad part will be that for millions of libtards...it won’t matter and Obama will still be their Messiah....lol!
Bob Woodward was a guest this a.m. on Mancow’s talk show; he referred to a coming scandal that could bring Obama’s administration down. I wonder if this is it.

Expect major leaks very soon, if this is true. Our military commanders are not stupid and will figure out the ‘change’ in strategy by Obama towards AQ as their orders get handed down. They can connect the dots(if there are dots to be connected).
