Homeschool, homeschool, homeschool. Much better to give up the cable TV, Hollywood dreck, and other non-essentials than to give your children's minds over to the government to be filled with beliefs and ideals that are antithetical to Christianity, decency, conservatism, common sense, history revised to advance the socialist agenda, and worse. In place of which, they learn "tolerance" of perversion, but intolerance of anything the left opposes-they learn to have a collectivist mentality, groupthink, marching in lockstep with the liberal-now openly socialist-agenda. They learn to disrespect authority, including their parents, except the authority of a leftist government.
If one's children aren't worth the sacrifice, nothing is. They truly are the future, and what and how they learn will dictate what that future is.

Pretty soon they will have to salute and shout Seig Heil when they pass that picture.

The number one fallen angel encourages his followers to “worship” him.
The new president SHOULD be rebuking his followers, but seems enjoy this stuff.
I wonder about the connection.

No, but if my kids came home with this story and I found out it was true, the school system would find out what a screaming raging B*tch I am capable of being.

I am surprised kids still say the pledge, most schools I know the teacher no longer allowed it.
But maybe since Obama is here, they will bring it back.

When I was a kid, we did the old salute when we said the pledge. (Hand on forehead)”I pledge allegiance (salute) to the flag———”.
Do you suppose this ‘sieg heil’ salute will come back? Sounds like this school would like it.
Good for those parents who are bringing this to attention!!

My youngest (1st grade) was in the kitchen this afternoon. He made a strange remark to me.....”Mommy? That Obama? He REALLY looks weird. It’s just that every time I look at him....he looks....WEIRD.” He’s heard me spout off about him....but nothing too deep. (Can’t say much because hubby likes him and was present.) I thought that was a bit strange. They watched the ‘coronation’ at his school. I’ll be digging further to see what’s giving him ‘the creeps’.

They absolutely know what they are doing! During the campaign somehow I ended up on the receiving end of an email from some schmuck that works for the NEA spewing the most deranged nonsense I’ve ever read in my life. THEY KNOW!
