I, among with 800 other people at my workplace received notice that we were all targeted for layoff between April and June. Well over half the people here are losing their jobs.
That’s the awful human tragedy element of this massive fiscal irresponsibility that really began in 1998. The four sectors getting propped up for economic recovery are Energy, Consumer Healthcare, Higher Ed and I.T. in that order. I suggest if you are laid off you utilize your skills in one of these four markets. Best of success -

God be with you, and may this turn out for your benefit in the long run. We just had our 5th round of layoffs (since August) ourselves today. This is just miserable.
