My money says Springsteen has never walked into a wal-mart in his life.

Considering when he became successful several years before Wal-mart became successful, I'd say you're right. I'll bet a dollar against a donut that he shopped in many a Kmart and Zayre stores while he toured the country in those early days.

I love his music up to and including "Born in the USA." After that, well...Il est magnifique, mais il ne s'agit pas de rock n roll.

I hate "Born in the USA" with a passion. It's a steaming pile of anti-American, leftist, dookie!

Make no mistake... Bruce Springsteen did NOT have a brother who served in Viet Nam! He doesn't even have a brother, he has two sisters.

The song is a total fantasy about the "loss" of a brother in Viet Nam and an inherent suggestion that his brother died for nothing.

I on the other hand have a brother with three Purple Hearts from Viet Nam. Unlike John Kerry, my brother's wounds were real and to this day he recieves disability checks from the government. My brother knew that he was fighting to stop the spread of communism in Viet Nam (spread by violence and force of arms, by the way). It was the leftists and communism's useful idiots who caused us to give up southeast Asia and allowed for the "re-education camps" in Viet Nam and eventually the "killing fields" in Cambodia to spring to life.

Way to go Bruce, you and your assclown "fellow travelers" CAUSED the sacrifice of our boys to be FOR NOTHING and caused countless deaths to happen. I believe there were over 400,000 executions in Cambodia alone.
