And the Bay Area was ground zero for the Berkeley so-called free speech movement. It was ground zero for the hippies of the ‘60s.
In recent years, Frisco has been ground zero for a host of liberal causes. They are ground zero for the homosexual rights movement, and same-sex marriage. They have an elected county supervisor who loathes the military. He thinks that we don’t need a military; that local police will defend us if America is ever attacked again. They have pursued very liberal policies to be “compassionate” towards the homeless, and have found that they are not solving their homeless problem with their liberal ideology.
And they even adopted a form of universal health care within San Francisco, with very mixed results. Liberal ideology collides with the real world sometimes, providing the liberals with unexpected results.
Well they can’t blame the man in the White House for their problems anymore.
