One of the few things that would actually help our current situation is dirt cheap energy. Good to hear Sarah is all over this.
I've spent a good deal of time visiting in Alaska. Not as a resident or anyone with an agenda.
In fact, I was in Fairbanks Alaska the day the Trans-Alaska Pipeline was opened and oil flowed from Prudhoe Bay to Valdez. That was 1977.
The Trans-Alaska Pipeline is an engineering marvel. The oil is carried above ground through a pipeline supported on flexible columns which adapt to changes in the permafrost soils. I've travelled hundreds of miles of it. Critics are clueless.
There are lots of websites about it. Here's one: http://www.alyeska-pipe.com/Default.asp
Just to clarify. The columns are not flexible. They are however designed to carry away the heat to prevent melting of the permafrost.
I haven't seen the other thread but I may have missed this story all together if not for you posting it. Thank you, GVnana.
Besides, there can never be 'too many' articles on Sarah Palin, even if they are duplicates.
Drill, drill, DRILL!
Thank you. You’re correct. I was sleepy.
Will they have peanut butter for the celery sticks? We all have our priority you know. By summer, gas prices will be way up again.....wanta bet?
“By summer, gas prices will be way up again.....wanta bet?”
“Elementary my dear Watson, elementary”.
BTW Peanut Butter may or may not be used on the celery depending on how you fill out the questionnaire regarding your allergic reactions to nuts.
