I saw a magazine article a couple of years ago that pretty convincingly analyzed the difference between "glamor" models and those working in haute couture. The former are very pretty and work in advertising for day-to-day products and catalogs; they look like women. The latter, the burden of the article showed, are chosen by couturiers precisely because they resemble teenaged boys.
The houses of couture are strutting their designers' homosexuality on a global stage -- and making a lot of women models physically sick in the process. A lot of haute-couture models can't get their periods or have children and have serious health issues, which is not to mention anorexia. They are truly suffering for their trade at the hands of misogynistic alpha gays.
#2 & #5 have said it succinctly - this is high class for a narcissistic leftist, one so removed from the reality of our world that it is breathtakingly scary. We are being ruled (not governed) by a personality that totally depends on his fanatical staff. They feel harshly constrained by the Constitution and will subvert it every chance they get.

I just watched the interview. (the event comes in the last minute of it) I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt on this one, all he did was read the headline above Jessica Simpson’s photo.
As always, he can’t go unscripted. His words were not extemporaneous comments. Look at the cover, you’ll see the words ‘weight battle’ right above Jessica Simpson’s photo.
Beyond that. I’m cutting him no slack.
I watched the video and he was joking about the headline. If George Bush had said the same thing everyone here would be defending him. This isn’t worth discussing and makes all those concerned about this look petty. I’d expect similar comments to what I’m reading here on the DU. Nothing un-presidential here.

He has already failed with a few of the Southern states that were hit hard by the ice storm. Little to no sign of FEMA nor any help for those without power, food, water, etc.
Where are the national news outlets to report on one of his failures in the first couple of weeks in office?
Of course, he's made other major mistakes but this should be huge, too.
