[Reagan Man]

We happen to be debating national politics and the future of the GOP from a conservative perspective. Reagan never let his personal friendship with gays and pro-abortion supporters get in the way of promoting the conservative agenda.

If you want to espouse political positions and associate those positions with Michael Steele, fine. Just don't attempt to align those values and beliefs with those of Reagan. Not for a moment.

Reagan believed that if people wanted to join the GOP and/or help advance the conservative agenda, that was fine with him. That is not what Steele is talking about.

Steele is talking about expanding the GOP base by accepting the liberal Democrat position on gay rights and abortion rights.

Reagan opposed minority special rights and was adamantly opposed to Roe v Wade and abortion on demand as the policy of the US government.

Don't ever skew my words or purposely again distort what I post here. If you are unable to present an appropriate response then I'd suggest you refrain from doing so.
And go play your 'I like Reagan more than you' childish game with someone else. You know zip about my knowledge of, and respect for, the man. Though it wouldn't hurt you to acquire the former and gain the latter.
