I committed a sin of omission. The last TWO sentences together were silly. Anchor babies do not become Natural Born Citizens, which is the status required for POTUS.
I think you’re comparing apples and oranges. You’re absolutely right, that a child born here of foreign parents is considered a citizen.
But that has nothing to do with the NBC requirement for POTUS.
