“(Palin)has said on many occasions she reads the Constitution before she makes ANY decision.”

And I liked her before you told me that. Got a source?

I thought that if she were better versed in the Constitution she could have corrected Senator Biden during the VP debates, at least on the VP role supposedly only being mentioned in the Executive Article (which Senator Brain Damage Biden misidentified as Article I).

Also when they mentioned her lack of foreign policy experience she could mention that many of our Presidents and VP’s have been elected from Governorships without foreign policy experience, and that as a matter of the Constitution, Governors are explicitly forbidden to conduct foreign policy.

Also when Catty Couric asked her about Supreme Court decisions beside Roe vs Wade she disagreed with she could have not only mentioned Kelo vs New London but cited the “Public use” clause that has now been diluted to mean “any conceivable public benefit” mistranslated into meaning “anything that will bring in higher taxes”.

Governor Palin and all our elected and appointed officials would do well to read the plain and simple language of our Constitution every day.

She said so during an interview she did in Alaska after the election, I believe she said the same thing during Greta’s interview with her when Greta went up to Alaska to meet with her. Before any decision she makes in Alaska she reads the constitution to see if its the right thing to do
