I had a premonition last week as I was mourning the ascension of his highness to his throne--and I cannot say that any of my premonitions ever come true, so take this for what it's worth...

Anyway, since this bozo has never really held a job, and now he's got the toughest job in the world, and since everyone pretty much made him feel like he was auditioning for a part in a movie or something to be a star, I suspect he's going to get pretty tired of how (insert whiny voice here) hard being president is. I just imagined Obamallamadingdong in about 5 or 6 months (weeks, at this rate?) saying, (whine again) "This is too hard. I don't wanna do this anymore.. I quit."

Wouldn't that be sweet?

There is one fool-proof way of determining the potential success or failure of a respective student/job candidate, and that is affirmative action. Those who are bumped ahead, or are otherwise promoted over others who more qualified, simply for political expediency almost always fail.

And it usually doesn't have to do with core intelligence (although there are minimum ranges). As the saying goes, the hard part is getting into an Ivy League college; once you're there, the curve is pretty forgiving.

So what it really boils down to is personality eg discipline, determination, etc. Like that old Seinfeld episode where Elaine is advised that 'one must be born with grace, it can't be acquired', Obama never was, is not, and never will be the type of guy who can buckle down and get focused. It's not him, and he is going to crack, sooner than later, under the pressures of the job.
