Yes, I do believe Specter has taken his phone off the hook. I did get through to Collins and Lugar’s DC offices. Neither office would say how they plan to vote.
I called Spector’s Harrisburg office this AM. Been trying the DC office since 9AM. Just got through. Asked how he was voting and got a speech about amendments. Told them that I didn’t care how many strings of pearls they put on this pig, if Specter votes for this bill I will personally campaign against him and I haven’t campaigned for anyone in 30 years.
