A fellow I work with says he called his office and found out that Lugas was going to vote for the stimulus. Thats how I found out.
Well, I called his office and was informed that he had not taken a position on the bill. I asked the staffer if Lugar had even read the bill at that point. He was ready to hang up on me, but we continued on with a conversation that I initiated. Lugar needs to hear from his constituents. He's as wishy-washy as they come these days. website? For heaven's sake, his first concern is whether Hoosiers have applied for Earned Income Tax Credits. That's not going to solve our problems.
