Voinovich is ‘no’ now as well. Its Snowe, Collins & Spectre, from our side.

I was able to get a human being by calling my Senator’s local office here in Southern Oregon.
When Washington is too swamped to answer, search for a local office where they can still take a call.

Call call call. If their DC office is busy - call their state offices. Fax and email too but call. Use leftover cell minutes to call.

Oh yeah, I’m really going to influence Schumer.

I’m in California and as such have had the same busy signal as you. Will keep trying.

0 guts our military.
Reps. Barney Frank and Barbara Lee have announced that they want to "trim" what they call "Cold War-era" weapons from the 2010 budget. Included in their "cut list" are the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter ($6.1 billion), the F/A-22 Raptor ($4.5 billion), the Marines' V-22 Osprey ($1.3 billion), the DDG-1000 destroyer ($3.5 billion) and the Army's Future Combat Systems ($3.7 billion).Sickening!

Done! McCain and Kyl are getting tired of hearing from me. I think Kyl will hang in there. McCain is a “maverick” so who knows what he’ll do.

Schumer will of course vote “Yes.”
But when he goes behind closed doors and tells the rest of Leadership what a backlash this Porkulus is creating, they may take it off the table.
Summary: No call is a waste of time, even to Senators who won’t change their vote. It is about applied pressure and the other results that can occur with that pressure.
Good luck!

Please vote no on the stimulus bill.
No more protecting political donations and farming for votes.
Thank you.

I've tried both Boxer and Feinstein, but get nothing but busy signals or "mail box full" messages. That's a good sign. That means citizens are burning down their switchboards. Uh, no, Jim. It means they're ignoring voicemails form the people who don't exist. People like you, a conservative in a liberal wasteland.
Boxer and Finkstein don't need your support, don't care, and needn't listen.
They'll vote for it, they'll win it, and they'll win reelaction.

Just got through to Bill Nelson’s Office.Phone: 202-224-5274 and gave the assistant a full two minutes on why I expected a “NO” vote.
Moving on to Martinez now.

I got through to Feinstein at her San Diego office. I told her not to saddle my children and grandchildren with another trillion dollars in debt.
Just remember:
It's all about the children!

Both of my Alabama Senators usually do the right thing, and I can’t imagine them voting for this bill. The problem is us folks with conservative representation have a hard time influencing a liberal Senator from another state. Any ideas?

Well, that’s going to add more to the unemployment figures.
I work on one of those programs and I’ll likely lose my
job in the next few months. My hubby has been out of work
since last summer. We are 60 and 61, wonder where we can
find work now?

I’ve been dialing GOP Senator phone numbers all day today to voice strong oppostion to this bill, and encourage them to stay strong and vote NO! Many number are busy or have full voicemail boxes.
Everyone keep trying, it makes a difference!
