What if the federal project is in a right to work state?

This will NEVER work/
The whole thing about union labor is that they don’t WANT
to work: it’s been said , in my estimation very accurately, as someone in the building trades who’s always steered clear of ANYTHING to do with Unions, that union labor has devolved from ensuring good work to protecting bad work. With this much sucker-taxpayer money to be “distributed” you are going to see the scandals on an unimaginable scale, the will make the Boston Big Dig look like a model of efficiency. Give it time, and Obama and the Dems will be thrown bodily out of the WHite House.

Non -union contractor here. We were doing a job and were being picketed by the local union thugs. They spread ‘stars’ on the driveway into the jobsite. Stars are pieces of metal that, no matter how they land, always have a sharp edge pointed upward. This insures that any vehicle going in will have its tires punctured. I have one in my posession. Funny thing is, it has “Made in Taiwan” stamped into it.

Wow! I can’t believe that these thugs can still pull their crap in this day and age. I thought civilized society had come further than that.

I could tell you stories of vandalism of vehicles (smashed windshields, slashed tires); metal buildings that had the nuts from their anchor bolts removed and were pulled down in the middle of construction, contractors that were assaulted with pipes, or spat on as they went to work. They use OSHA, the EPA and the Labor department to harass non union contractors. They once started a bulldozer that was parked on a job site, and set it in motion where it ran over cars in a neighboring auto dealership. All true stories, but don't expect to see any of these on the nightly news with Katie Couric.

What if the federal project is in a right to work state? Court. I don't think the Associated Builders and Contractors will just roll over.

The labor thugs are getting an immediate payoff from their Chicago pal, our dear leader.

(Obama. We kind of underestimated the creepiness.)
To: Eagle Eye
I am going to have to brush up on what FAR is and get back to you, and I will indeed do that later.

This must do away with open biding or the unions will always lose. Remember the “Big Dig”?

Wow! I cant believe that these thugs can still pull their crap in this day and age. I thought civilized society had come further than that. Obama comes from the land of union thugs. I didn't expect anything different. Ayn Rand had it pegged correctly. The looters are in power.
